Nose

Pink guava, mandarin, passionfruit & a hint of lemongrass, the nose shows great clarity & freshness

Palate

The palate is juicy, crisp & delicious with a fine, chalky texture, juicy acidity, & beautiful flavours of grapefruit, sweet lime & guava

Growing Conditions

Following a dry Autumn, significant rains in August brought Winter precipitation back up to average, & vintage started about a week earlier than the long-term norm. Overall, the vintage was characterized by larger berry & bunch size with good acidity across the board

Harvest

The Semillon was picked on 24th February, the Sauvignon Blanc was picked on 9th February 2025. The Semillon comes principally from block 7 on our Metricup vineyard whilst the Sauvignon Blanc was taken from blocks 6 & 8 on our Karridale site to the south. Both vineyards (& the winery) are certified under the audited Sustainable Winegrowing Australia initiative

Bottling

Bottled 9th July 2025

Winemaking

The blend is 64% Semillon, 36% Sauvignon Blanc. The winemaking was nice & simple. No barrel or lees stirring, all cool ferment in tank to retain freshness & aromatics. Kept on fine lees for 3 months to build texture

Appearance

Pale straw with green tinges

Food Pairing

Grilled seafood or a spring vegetable linguine
