Nose

Bounds from the glass with cassis & blackberry, framed by cocoa powder & vanilla

Palate

The palate is expansive with plum & redcurrant fruit to the fore with hints of cedar & crushed spice, intense yet elegant. Lovely length & fine grainy texture, classically Margaret River.

Growing Conditions

A wet winter & spring impacted fruit set, leading to reduced yields. Yet, 2022 was an outstanding vintage. Warm, dry conditions in summer & autumn provided exceptional growing & ripening conditions. Bird pressure was greatly reduced due to strong flowering of native flora. Remarkable quality

Harvest

The fruit was harvested between 16th - 27th March 2022 across our three sites in Metricup, Wilyabrup & Karridale
