Nose
An exceptionally defined and concentrated wine with aromas of deeply ripe blueberries, black cherries and plums with wild herbs.
Palate
The palate has majestically strong and rich tannins with cassis, black cherry and dark-chocolate flavours, holding the long finish.
Harvest
Hand-picked 13th March to 1st April 2015 at a Baumé between 12.9 - 13.9 Be°
Winemaking
Cold soak for 4 days, mix of hand-plunged open fermenters and pumped over closed fermenters. 16 to 36 days on skins. MLF in barrel.
Aging
18 months in French barriques half of which were new
